Functions
- Application configuration
- Monitor for system upgrades and make recommendations
- Perform testing of service releases/upgrades
- Lead a team of testers as needed for patches and upgrades
- Answer service desk tickets, brings issues to resolution
- Work with vendors for support issues
- Establish best practices through the entire technical support process
- Configure and test application hardware (clocks, tablets, etc)
- Perform change requests
- Policy, procedure, and best practice documentation
- Development of training materials
- Attend training opportunities for applications
- Work with all aspects of the IT department to test and deploy applications
- Project management

This position description is intended to cover the most significant, ongoing job functions and competency areas.

Edu & Exp
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing setting is preferred
- The role is considered the expert in the field and must have intimate knowledge of customer processes and applications
- Experience with manufacturing processes
- Six Sigma training is preferred
- Must be willing to take courses for all supported applications
Physical
Must be able to access every location in both office and plant spaces. Must be able to shadow shop floor employees job duties to provide application support and training. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Travel
Up to 10% travel may be required to other NEI sites.
